Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art welcomes all to celebrate the American spirit in a setting that unites the power of art with the beauty of landscape. Nestled in a beautiful natural ravine in a wooded park in the heart of Bentonville, Arkansas, Crystal Bridges is itself a work of art, designed by world-renowned architect Moshe Safdie.
The Museum features works by major American artists, including Charles Willson Peale's portrait of George Washington, Rosie the Riveter by Norman Rockwell, and Kindred Spirits, a quintessential example of the famed Hudson River School of art by Asher Brown Durand.
In addition to historical works, Crystal Bridges' collection also showcases major works by modern and contemporary artists, including Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol, and Georgia O'Keeffe, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to experience the full scope of American art.
