You are invited to submit your proposal to share your experience and expertise with your colleagues in human resource management at the ARSHRM State Human Resource Conference. The ARSHRM State Council is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). The conference is being held in Springdale, Arkansas, April 25-27, 2012 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. Others will benefit from your experience while you make a valuable contribution to the profession's field of knowledge.

Conference Information
The ARSHRM State Council acts as a resource for 8 Arkansas SHRM affiliated chapters as well as at-large national SHRM members in Arkansas and provides on-going information and guidance to all HR Professionals in Arkansas. Our mission and vision is to guide and facilitate professional Arkansas SHRM Chapters and national SHRM members through collaborative initiatives that serve the professional and advance the profession in our state.
The ARSHRM State Human Resource Conference is the preeminent event for human resource professionals in the State. The 2012 event promises to provide informational and educational opportunities of the highest quality to HR professionals.
Selection and Programming
A Program Committee will be reviewing and selecting the speakers for this conference. The program will include topics related to human resources in the following key areas:
- Strategic Management
- Workforce Planning and Employment
- Compensation and Benefits
- Employee and Labor Relations
- Human Resource Development
- Culture Competence
Members of the Program Committee review all proposals. The Program Committee will make a final selection of those proposals accepted. Notification or declination will be sent approximately 30 days after the deadline to submit applications to speak/present. Our audience strongly prefers single speaker presentations. Co-presentations are discouraged.
Each concurrent session will last 75 minutes. Keynote presentations will last 60 minutes. Each concurrent session presenter should be prepared to present two sessions on the same topic or on different topics.
